Welcome! My name is Diana, the solo artist and creator of MissDeezer Art.

After teaching Visual Art for 7+ years and dabbling in other careers, I decided to take the advice of loved ones and previous students and try my hand in creating works of my own that others could enjoy.

I create paintings, 2-D & 3-D mixed media works, ceramic sculptures, and functional vessels. My works are inspired by nature, my spirituality/dreams, my Italian-American heritage, our current society, and the beautiful people I have met in my life. I strive to create aesthetically pleasing works, (oftentimes charged with a subtle message or commentary), that speak to others.

Having suffered from an autoimmune disease since the age of 10, Art has always been a way for me to express myself and my pain in a healthy way- and it’s also served as a reminder to pay attention to the small things in life that often go unnoticed or undervalued.

My official Artist Statement is a work in progess as I am still exploring, dabbling, and strengthening my voice as an artist.
